In October 2021 I failed my road test and decided that to kill time until my next one I would make chiptune covers of Red Velvet songs. I passed my next road test but still kept making chiptune covers of Red Velvet songs and they became this album.

I started listening to Red Velvet a couple of months into the pandemic in 2020. Sometimes I wish I had known of them sooner, but honestly, I think they entered my life at just the right time.
